Pentecostal Evangelistic Outreach Church ("PEO Church NYC," "we," "us," or "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization located at 102 Jefferson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11216. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of peochurchnyc.org (the "Site") and any related services, including forms, prayer requests, event sign-ups, and text/call communications you opt into. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
You may use the Site to learn about our ministries, services, and events; submit prayer requests, contact forms, or ministry sign-ups; and give charitably. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, misleading, abusive, or harmful content through any form on the Site.
Some forms on the Site let you provide an email address or phone number so our staff can follow up with you — for example, to confirm a first-time visit, respond to a prayer request, or share event and service updates. How we handle phone calls, text messages, and other communication channels (including any messaging technology we may adopt in the future, such as RCS) is described in our Privacy Policy's Communications Terms & Consent section, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Providing contact information is always optional, and declining to do so never prevents you from otherwise using the Site.
Charitable donations made through the Site are processed by our third-party giving platform, Givelify (give2.peochurchnyc.org), under Givelify's own terms and privacy practices. PEO Church NYC does not collect or store your payment information directly. All donations are voluntary, and PEO Church NYC, as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 11-2685601), provides tax receipts consistent with applicable law.
The Site's design, text, graphics, logos, sermon recordings, and other content are owned by or licensed to PEO Church NYC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, share, and print content from the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
When using the Site, you agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation or security; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems; submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes another person's rights; or use any automated means to scrape or collect data from the Site without our permission.
The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control, including our giving platform, social media pages, and mapping services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site, and linking to a site does not imply our endorsement of it.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do our best to keep information about services, events, and ministries current, but we do not guarantee the Site will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PEO Church NYC and its staff, leadership, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Kings County (Brooklyn), New York.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Site, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
